Using CrayonBook

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use CrayonBook. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in links and account access secure.

Your photos and instructions

You keep your ownership rights in content you submit. You give CrayonBook and our service providers a limited permission to host, process, transform, reproduce, and deliver that content only as needed to operate the service and fulfill your order.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed for the photos, names, and other content you submit, including appropriate consent from people pictured. You may not submit unlawful, abusive, exploitative, infringing, or deceptive content.

AI-created illustrations

CrayonBook uses automated image-generation tools. Results are creative interpretations, not exact reproductions, and may contain variations or mistakes. You will receive a digital proof and can review every page before printing. You are responsible for reviewing names, likenesses, and other details before approval.

Orders, pricing, and tax

The price, shipping method, and any tax due are shown during checkout before you pay. Payment starts creation of your illustrations. An order is not accepted for printing until payment is confirmed and the book passes the required proof and production checks.

Proof approval and personalized goods

Nothing is sent to print until you approve the proof. Approval is your instruction to create a personalized physical product from that version. After approval, production may begin promptly and changes or cancellation may no longer be possible.

Because each book is made specifically for you, approved books generally cannot be returned for preference changes or details that were visible in the approved proof. Our Shipping & Returns Policy explains cancellation, damage, and defect handling.

Availability and changes

We work to keep CrayonBook available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product improvement. We may reject or cancel an order that cannot be safely or lawfully fulfilled and will provide an appropriate refund when payment has been collected.

Our materials

CrayonBook, its software, brand, site design, and non-customer materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. These terms do not give you a right to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse them.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without warranties beyond any rights that cannot legally be excluded. CrayonBook is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product or law changes. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order unless the law requires otherwise. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the revised terms.
